An ideal place for snorkeling is the Bay of Afrata. Diving schools from Chania often come here to train their dive students. Please do not forget slippers. There is a small reef and you will be amazed by the underwater world. The bay is rather unspectacular, but cozy with a small tavern, and the underwater world more beautiful and just 15 minutes drive from our hotel.

The village Ravdoucha is located on the west side of the Rodhopou Peninsula, about 10 km west of kolimbari. It is located 30 km west of Chania city and about 180 meters above the sea level. A steep path leads down to the small bay of the same name. In the bay there is a tavern with typical local dishes. The bay consists of coarse gravel to fist-thick stones with large rock slabs. This Beach is also not spectacular for beach fans who like sandy beaches, but all the more spectacular for snorkeling enthusiasts and anglers. The bay offers some interesting rock formations.

Falassarna is a paradise not only for snorkeling, this bay is also a paradise for enthusiasts of sandy beaches. The sandy beaches are devoted from several rocky bays behind the ancient excavations.
